Product applications:

●It is applied in RLC tuned circuit, for example, radio receivers and television sets.

The ac circuits with resistors, capacitors, and inductors placed in the circuit to pass, reject, or control current are RLC networks. When a circuit contains all three factors like resistance, inductance, and capacitance, we call it an RLC circuit. When a series or parallel RLC circuit is at the resonant frequency, it is known as a tuned circuit. The RLC circuit forms a harmonic oscillator for current, and resonates in an analogous way as an LC circuit. Adding the resistor increases the decay of these oscillations, and this phenomenon is known as damping. The other function of resistor is that it reduces the peak resonant frequency.

●It is used in electronic harmonic oscillator.

An oscillator is a kind of circuit controlling and adjusting the repetitive discharge of a signal. There are two basic types of oscillator, say, a relaxation oscillator, or a harmonic oscillator. This signal is usually applied in equipment in need of a measured, continual motion used for some other purpose.

●It is applicable to band-pass filter.

A band pass filter is a device allowing frequencies within a specific frequency range while rejecting frequencies outside that range. It is further divided into low pass filter, which is used to isolate the signals with frequencies higher than the cutoff frequency, and high pass filter, which is used to isolate the signals with frequencies lower than the cutoff frequency.

●It is suitable for band elimination filter.

Band elimination filter is also known as band-reject or band-stop filter, which passes all frequencies above and below a specific range. It is similar to band-pass design, except that two filter sections are connected in parallel with each other instead of in series.
